Research:
The Neurophysics Group develops a variety of research lines focusing on the biophysical and neurophysiological sources of brain signals and on functional brain images obtained via magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), optical spectroscopy diffusion (DOS) and electroencephalography (EEG).
The group’s goals are essentialy: 1) development of multimodal functional neuroimaging; 2) application of these techniques in the multidisciplinary study of normal and pathological brain dynamics in collaboration with medical experts and neuroscientists; and 3) development of theoretical models related to the dynamics of brain function.
