The Brazilian Institute of Neuroscience and Neurotechnology (BRAINN), located at the University of Campinas (UNICAMP/Brazil), is seeking highly motivated and analytically capable postdoctoral candidates with strong interest in genomics and integrative analytical approaches for -omics data. Funds are available for an initial 2-year period.
Requirements
Applicants must have a Ph.D. degree, obtained in the last 4 years, with strong analytic background in one of the following areas:
- Statistics,
- Biostatistics,
- Mathematics,
- Computational Biology,
- Bioinformatics or equivalent
Programming proficiency in some language (e.g., R, Python, Perl, C, C++ or Java) and at least three scientific publications in peer-reviewed journals in the last three years are required. Excellent verbal and written communication skills (English, Portuguese or Spanish) are indispensable.
