Research:
The Neurophysics Research Group focuses on the studies (processing, analysis and modeling) of brain data gathered from different techniques (such as structural and functional magnetic resonance imaging, electroencephalography, and diffusion optical spectroscopy), and the development of new techniques for obtaining these data (such as neural probes and new devices for optical spectroscopy). The information is used in various applications, ranging from the differentiation between patients with a given disease and healthy people (for diagnosis, prognosis and treatment) to brain-computer interface (in which an external device is controlled by brain signals).
